Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to all our customers while ensuring the availability of equipment for others. Please review this policy carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.

1. General Guidelines

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted through our website or via email to info@folkstudiosfilms.com.
  • Cancellation requests are only considered valid if they are acknowledged and confirmed by our team via email.
  • The timing of your cancellation request determines the applicable refund or fees.

2. Free Cancellation Window

  • You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup date.
  • A full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5-7 business days after the cancellation is confirmed.

3. Cancellation Fees

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours before the delivery or pickup date will incur a cancellation fee of 20% of the total booking amount.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled delivery or pickup date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking amount.
  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations made on the delivery or pickup date, or for no-shows.

4. Modifications to Bookings

  • You may request changes to your booking (e.g., change of dates or equipment) up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup date.
  • Approval of modifications is subject to equipment availability and may incur additional charges.
  • If we cannot accommodate your modification request, the original cancellation policy will apply if you choose to cancel.

5. Refund Process

Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed as follows:

  • All refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account after confirmation.

6. Special Circumstances

  • In the event of unavoidable circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, natural disasters, or technical issues on our end), we reserve the right to cancel your booking. In such cases, you will receive a full refund.
  • If you face an emergency and need to cancel, please contact us immediately. We will review such cases on a discretionary basis.

7. No-Show Policy

  • If you fail to collect or receive the equipment on the scheduled date without prior notice, it will be considered a no-show.
  • No refunds will be provided for no-shows, and the full booking amount will be forfeited.
